Cultural and Economic Separation in USA Abstract The United States of America commonly referred to as USA is a federal republic, comprising of 50 different states, Washington, D.C being its federal district. America stands at 3.8 million square miles with a population of over 320 million making it the fourth largest land area. This populous nation also ranks among the most culturally and ethnically diverse nation due to a high number of immigrants from various countries. Its vast land occupancy brings in a cocktail of different climatic zones that support varieties of wildlife. America is a developed country endowed with natural resources and a large productive workforce making it the worldââ¬â¢s largest economy. The country thrives by being the worldââ¬â¢s largest manufacturer of products. The diverse population hosted by America brings in cultural differences bringing in the question of blending in of minority populations such as African American, Asian Pacific American, American Indian, and Hispanics who mainly contrast wi th mainstream American culture. America has of an Anglo majority, which dominates the country both politically and economically. The history of American has an in-depth legacy in slavery and rampant social and economic inequalities cutting across the different races.
